Very quiet location. You can start hiking straight away. Very attentive staff. The room was too dark because thick bushes grow in front of the window.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location—at night you hear birds and animals. Nice seating areas on the grounds and excellent dining. Lovely breakfast. You can hike away from the hotel or take the tree‑top trail.

The forest house is centrally located and the best starting point to explore Hainich. The tree‑top trail is practically in front of the door and the marked hiking paths are wonderful. The fantastic playground for children convinced me to come back with my grandchildren. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
