I really liked the lodge’s location. My boyfriend and I don’t have a car or motorcycle, so it was perfect to be in a place where the main city spots were a 15‑20 minute walk away. Breakfast was well served, the staff who greeted us were very attentive, and the accommodation overall is beautiful and cozy. The only minor details that didn’t ruin the experience were that the ad said there was a hair dryer, but it was broken when we arrived and could have been mentioned beforehand. In the rooms we could have used a small floor drying rack for wet clothes and a plug adapter, because there were almost no free sockets and the ones near the bed had loose connections.

I was kicked out of the lodge because the owner had made a double reservation and they gave me the gate code so I could come back later, then I told them I’d call the police because I was “invading” the lodge, even though the staff let us in. The owner’s lack of education was obvious; since I was already inside, she should have called us and explained the mistake that the booking would fix. I also want a refund for the unnecessary extra cost I incurred because of the booking and the lodge, as I paid 500 reais more for another lodge and the booking and the owner gave me no assistance.
