“Tranquilidad, buenas vistas y muy cuidado”
The views are amazing and the room décor is very well done. The woman who runs it doesn’t speak much English, but that’s not a problem; she’s a delight.

The hotel is nice, the room is nice, breakfast is good, and the countryside setting is pleasant. It’s conveniently located for temple visits, though it feels overpriced.

The whole hotel is lovely and tastefully decorated, and the breakfast was very good. Bicycles are available for temple visits (though not suitable for tall people). However, the room itself is rather small (photo) compared to the advertised 47 m², which should include the outside terrace. There are no storage facilities aside from a coat rack and two hangers (photo), making the room feel cramped. It’s quiet at night, but the house sits on a small road leading to a bridge, so scooters are heard early. The real issue is the lack of on‑site management: the maid arrives, gives you the manager’s phone, and then disappears; when you need something later, no one is there. Dining is also problematic: we tried the restaurant the host recommended but aggressive dogs forced us to leave; calling the manager resulted in an over‑order of food for two people that we had to pay for. Overall, it’s expensive for what you get, especially since Si Satchanalai has very few accommodations despite its temples.

A beautiful 100‑year‑old house, rebuilt and modernised with showers, sits in a calm garden and is well located for Si Satchanalai National Park. The housekeeper is helpful and welcoming, and breakfast is good. It’s in an agricultural residential area, so finding an evening meal spot was tough; the nearest place was closed. By luck we found a large restaurant with fairy lights, surreal in a remote area full of dirt tracks. In daylight it was only about a 10‑minute drive away. Take‑away or delivery might be possible if you can speak Thai, but remember Thai people eat early.
