The hostel was fantastic, with staff who were genuinely kind and always ready to help. Its location was great and the value for money was incredible.

I usually don’t write reviews, but everyone should know how amazing Poppy’s is. I stayed for only a few days, yet we did a lot together: a tour around Pai, a movie night, and of course tipsy tubing. Even though it wasn’t the peak season and the hostel wasn’t crowded, meeting people was easy—not just roommates but also guests from other hostels who dropped by a few evenings to join karaoke and pool games. Noise never bothered me; they shut off music at 1 a.m. on the whole street, and most people didn’t need to sleep earlier. I can’t find any negatives, so I wish the hostel continued to grow and become even more popular! My favorite moment was returning from the tipsy tubing, drunk, and singing karaoke with all our hearts.

Honestly, it’s the best hostel I’ve ever visited. The location is great, the staff are friendly, and the value is unbeatable. It’s next to everything, and it even has the best dog, Paneng.

The workers were incredibly friendly and helpful with local activities and just fun to be around. Despite the low price, the beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve had in Thailand. The only downside is that it can be a bit loud when going to sleep, since it’s opposite Ganesh, but most of the time we were out so it didn’t matter.
