The central location was great and there was a small parking lot; breakfast was pleasant. However, the shower lacked soap and shampoo, and when I asked a maid—who had no intercom—she didn’t resolve the issue; only hand soap was in the sink. The place was under renovation with many obstacles. When I spoke to the owner about what happened, he didn’t even apologize. I later found myself in the parking lot with the maid, who apologized because she said there was no shampoo in a hotel—what a shock.

Great spot, friendly staff who were willing to accommodate us, and the place stayed clean. They even gave us extra blankets when we asked. Still, the first‑floor rooms were chilly and towels didn’t dry fast enough, so we had to request replacements. The breakfast was barely enough, and when we brought our own food they offered even less, which got messy with the other guests.
