The hotel sits just a stone's throw from the ferry dock and the town center, but the area feels a bit spooky. You have to walk down an alley and ride a tiny, sluggish elevator that takes forever to reach the third floor.

The breakfast is good and the atmosphere is quiet. The location is excellent for visiting the opera, the old town, and the harbors, and the rooms are very quiet. The rooftop terrace offers a wonderful place to relax, and drinks are brought out there. We would choose this hotel again if we visit Naples. We also booked excursions, and the meeting points were always within walking distance of the hotel. The subway station is just 200 m away. The rooms can be a bit small; we stayed in a Deluxe room for four nights and it was spacious enough. When we returned from a short stay in Capri after two days, we were given a relatively small room even though we had booked and paid for a Deluxe again.

The hotel’s location is great for visiting the city (the port is 5 min away, metro line 1 is 2 min away). The room was spacious and well sound‑proofed compared to street noise. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very attentive and smiling. If we come back to Naples, we’ll stay at Ciliegina.
