“I found a handy man & cleaner at property & they fixed my the issues expect for the aircon. They were very nice”
The place was close to where I needed to be, yet the daily new split system was broken, the toaster didn’t work, dishes and cutlery were poorly washed, coffee cups still had coffee in them, the new bathroom looked nice but the shower floor was filthy with debris in the corners that needed a good scrub, and I only got one clean over three days.
“I refused to stay there”
The room was horrible, so I left and stayed in a cabin across the road.
“I expected to meet Staff on arrival as I arrived prior to 5 pm so it was disappointing”
The location was spacious, but no staff were available and I had to plug in the toaster and jug near the TV.
“A very pleasant walk past an historic garden to get to the shops.”
The pillows, bed comfort, and crisp linen were all good, the brown bath towels were sensible for the outback, and the pool was refreshing, but check‑in was a mess with no one there and a 1‑800 number to call; the note should have said go to the Caravan Park reception across the road, so I helped three people because another guest explained the procedure; the bed layout in Room 12 could have been better if the fridge were next to the desk and the bed turned 90 degrees, the fridge was a bit noisy, and if the old fluorescent lights were replaced with downlights and the paint refreshed where the old lights were, it would look less sad and show better care; Wi‑Fi never worked and the guy across the road blamed the number of guests, and finally the broken tiles and poor grout need fixing.
