The staff at the riad gave us a warm welcome and went out of their way to meet our requests. The riad sits in the heart of the medina yet feels quiet. My room was tidy and comfortable, and the breakfast was generous with sweet and savory options: fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice, pastries, eggs, dairy, jam, honey, and butter. The street was a bit noisy with kids playing and a motorcycle passing by; the narrow alley amplifies the sounds, but that’s just life in the medina and nothing unpleasant.
