The host is a person, if I could give a maximum score of 10 I would give him 12… that’s all I have to say about this.

Great experience. About ten minutes drive from the city center, the restaurant and cabin are a nice place to rest. The staff were more than friendly; after closing the restaurant in the evening they asked if we wanted to keep the key to serve ourselves coffee or drinks. The accommodation is a wooden mountain cabin, very clean and comfortable with a bathroom, TV, internet and a terrace with a wonderful view. It’s very close to the Molitva viewpoint. The food at the restaurant is excellent, especially the veal sausages. They organized a trip and a boat ride in the Uvac canyon for us in five minutes. Anyone who wants quiet, clean and cool air, walks, enjoying nature in the middle of the mountains, good food and hospitality, should not regret coming.

Location, building, service. We didn’t know the restaurant opens at 10:30, so we arrived at 8 without coffee or breakfast.

The host went above and beyond! We were late for check‑in, but he didn’t make a fuss even though he had to return to the property to see us in. What really impressed me is that my mum and I were the only guests that night and stayed just one night, so it wasn’t worth the hassle for him, yet he welcomed us warmly. The cottages are simple, solar‑powered, with comfy and warm beds, and gas heaters (early September nights are chilly). Our room had a small but nice bathroom with running water and a simple shower (tap water is NOT potable). The restaurant is charming, and the view… we woke up to thick fog that retreated before sunrise, slowly revealing the first bend of the Uvac. LOVELY! The two photos show what it feels like to wake up at Elko’s. The restaurant was closed that morning (Mondays are off), so Elko, the host, came in to make us coffee (offering to get us breakfast in town too, which we declined, having other plans), and we had a lovely chat about almost everything under the sun. We were sad to have to continue our journey… The location is several kilometers from the famous Molitva viewpoint (which is a must‑see!). I can’t wait to go back. Nothing else comes to mind.
