“Friendly pub with lovely rooms in small Scottish border town.”

We had a large and very well-appointed room - lovely period features and lush furnishings. The shower was very nice and powerful. Staff were very friendly. A special mention needs to be made to one member of staff who posted on an Apple Watch we had left behind. Breakfast was ok but could have been better - our portions of continental breakfast were too large really. Coffee wasn't very nice, toast was under-toasted and soft. We ate lunch there 6 months ago which was much nicer

“A very comfortable stay in Duns on our way to Pitlochry: very friendly and helpful staff.”

The hotel sits in the appealing town of Duns, and our room was clean, roomy, and the pizza dinner was outstanding. The staff were friendly and helpful, even assisting with our luggage—a courtesy not often seen these days. Overall, everything worked out fine.
