The free internal parking with a gate was very convenient, even letting us in at night with a card or the front desk. The air conditioning worked well. I liked that the hotel lowered the dog fee from 25 € to 15 € after we clarified the misunderstanding. The cleaning was decent but could be better. The room was basic and there was no elevator (there are two ramps), the towel set was incomplete and the toiletries were insufficient for two people. The pillow was quite firm. The price was a bit high for a two‑star property, although I understand the Rome market. We didn’t eat breakfast even though it was included because from check‑in we didn’t feel especially welcomed. What confused me most was the animal surcharge. I didn’t explicitly mention our 6‑kg dog, but I honestly thought that because we chose a pet‑friendly place and used the pet filter on Booking, that detail was already in the booking. The well‑behaved dog was with us at check‑in and was seen by all staff; our stay was short, from 17:00 to 10:00 the next day. We had already paid the 5 € per person tourist tax, as shown on Booking and requested at check‑in, with no extra fee mentioned. Only at check‑out, when we thought everything was settled, did they ask for the fixed 25 € fee, then reduce it to 15 € after the misunderstanding, which I appreciated. I suggest making it clearer in the general conditions on Booking that a fixed 25 € surcharge for pets is always applied, instead of just saying “a surcharge may be requested,” so guests can book fully informed.

The building looks old and could be interesting as an exterior or aesthetically. The rooms are basic, dated, and the cleanliness is not up to standard. Breakfast is insufficient, pastries and sweets are pre‑packaged, no savory items, and the coffee shop is mediocre.
