“Wouldn’t stay there a second time.”

Getting to I‑94 was easy, and the front‑desk ladies were friendly. The building looked a little rundown, with debris and ripped paper on the elevator floor. The elevator stopped very hard on the first floor when going down, and the hallway outside our room had a long strip of missing carpet.

“In and out for just a place to sleep. Won’t be back. Penny’s Diner next door is sketchy and hotel not worth the money.”

This place is aimed at workers needing a night’s stay, so it isn’t suitable for families. The property isn’t well kept; the parking lot has poor lighting. The rooms looked “clean” but we found garbage under the beds, so we’re unsure how clean they really are. The beds were hard.

“Restaurant”

The restaurant was understaffed, so we just walked out. The staff member was a bit sassy when we asked about wiping the table.

You had to go to the restaurant to check in, and the lack of continental breakfast was disappointing.
