The location was great, with many activities for kids, free‑roaming donkeys and other animals, and especially the calm atmosphere even during the midday break. The snack times were inconvenient, and an unfriendly staff member—also towards children—was impossible. The playground and pool were a bit dated, but that didn’t spoil the fun.

We liked the friendly, relaxed vibe of the campsite and the kids went wild over the free‑roaming donkeys, the pony rides, the huge trampoline and the pleasant outdoor pool, while the staff were nice; however, the static caravan was cramped and rocked a lot—any footstep made the whole unit shake, the units are packed tightly together and heat up quickly (the air‑con can sort that out) and get very cold early in the morning because there’s only a tiny mini‑heater, so I’d only recommend coming in summer, not in winter, autumn or spring.

“Camping mit Eseln”

A great campsite where the owners are warm and helpful, always looking after the guests with affection. Our mobile home was in top shape and the air‑conditioning kept the temperatures just right. The kids had plenty to enjoy, thanks to a nice playground, a pool, and many animals. The only downside was the scattered apple peels across the grounds – they should be picked up more often.

The facilities were clean and there were animals around, plus an outdoor swimming pool. However, there were no activities or entertainment for children.
