Breakfast was offered after all. The rooms still had not finished their cleaning, the lamp and sofa mattress were still in plastic packaging. The price was 3× higher than usual because of the festival, so it wasn’t justified.

“Most awful stay ever”
Awful. Everything was under construction. My son and I had to walk down a hallway that was under construction and not safe just to get ice. There was no vending machine even though it was advertised. The TV was broken. It’s the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Nothing they claimed they had actually existed. The food was under the couch bed where my son slept—super gross. I was very disappointed. They never told us the hotel was under construction or that the name was changing. It was an awful experience.

The location was convenient from the highway and the sand dunes visitor center, and the recently renovated rooms had nice amenities, but the hotel was still under construction and some areas were visibly dirty—bathroom corners and coffee spilled on the walls.
