“Caca dans toilettes (chasse d'eau non tirée)”

After staying at the property from Monday 17 August to Wednesday 19 August 2026 we have several issues to report: the establishment cancelled our reservation after the stay, citing non‑appearance and/or non‑payment. That is not true: we stayed at the property believing we had paid online via Booking and no payment was requested on site. We do not understand why the establishment made that decision. To this problem add: – the accommodation was damp and dirty (to the point that the toilet flush was not pulled even during the presentation of the premises); – the host was particularly uncomfortable and made inappropriate remarks; – the bathroom was shared, which was not disclosed in the listing; – the room was not ventilated. The host therefore has no right to cancel our reservation, especially since he never requested payment and we believe we paid online.

There was no electricity when I arrived and it was stuffy from the attic. The place was dirty and dusty. Parking was very difficult. I would never go back there again. The place was dirty and had no electricity.

The owner was friendly, the room had a vintage Bulgarian style, and it was warm and cozy. However, there are many stairs to reach it and you probably won’t find it without contacting the owner first.

Luckily the shared room was occupied, and the kind gentleman moved me to a single room, a very cozy spot perfect for those who like an old‑time, homely style. Some areas, especially the ceiling, were not cleaned, but nothing alarming.

The attitude and help were correct. The stairs to the property were a problem.
