The room was clean and comfortable, but there was no English breakfast as advertised – I looked around the pub in the morning and no one was there. If you order it upon arrival, the man who let us in gave no information. There was only a basic kitchen with cheap white bread, apples, and cereal. Without the cooked breakfast it felt expensive. The pub’s disco downstairs was noisy; bring earplugs!

The place is in a convenient spot. Breakfast was disappointing: mouldy bread, fruit, no bath‑tub plug, and no Wi‑Fi info. The website advertised a full English breakfast, but they actually served a continental one.

Very homely and traditional country pub. The late night DJ that blasted music beyond 1.00am downstairs in the pub
