A lovely little hotel in a nice spot. We had a very spacious, clean room with a beautiful view of the town and the surrounding hills. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Breakfast was good in a cozy lounge room. The wine from the estate was excellent. Nothing to complain about.

We had a fantastic stay at Onkel Tomas Hütte. The hut is remote and offers a wonderful view of the valley; the terrace is nicely set up and cozy. We were lucky to be there on days when the hut was closed to the public, so we could enjoy quiet evenings on the terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful, drinks were always available, and guests get a tasty and affordable breakfast. Dogs were warmly welcomed and not a problem at all; even our puppy was received with open arms. It was great to stand in the vineyards in the mornings and evenings and take a nice walk. Overall, a great little patch of earth; if we ever head back to the Mosel, we’ll definitely try to stay here again.

Breakfast on the terrace. Missing mosquito screens on the windows.

The location is perfect with a view and super cool among the vineyards. Unfortunately there are no screens on the windows, so there are many mosquitoes; the pillow is bad.
