The hotel was pet friendly, but the pet fee wasn’t clear during booking, and the front desk staff treated me like they were doing me a favor when checking me in; I’d have preferred a robot.

Everything from check‑in to check‑out went smoothly, the desk clerks were friendly, the location and price were great, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well laid out, except for a non‑working exhaust fan in the bathroom that I mentioned at check‑out and was promised to be fixed.
“A place to sleep…not likely staying there again.”
The place was dingy at best and in need of an update; breakfast was mediocre with little variety and no drinking water at the station; the rooms weren’t well cleaned, were dark and drab, and the mattresses were terrible and definitely need an upgrade; there was a stale cigarette smell even though it was a non‑smoking room, and the bathrooms had no counter space—probably won’t stay again.
