The location! Peace! The environment! We were the only three people staying in the whole house—low season!

The old manor had a cozy and cool atmosphere that let you relax and let your imagination roam. The surroundings and the road were wonderful. The staff were very friendly. Check‑in worked smoothly with no hassle even though we arrived late. The breakfast was just the right size with everything you need in the big hall. The room was a bit cold when I entered, which is expected in an old house, but the heating unit on site warmed it up quickly and stayed warm for the rest of my stay. I had read on the website that parking could be hard to find in the dark; I understand that, but if I hadn’t seen that, I would have missed the small sign that said “parking.” A little more lighting at the parking area would help people find it easier when they arrive late at night.

The setting was truly unique, the breakfast was generally good, there were few guests and the location was quiet, a pool table was free to use, and we could use the refrigerators. Unfortunately, for the three nights we stayed there was no room service at all, and we would have liked to see bagels and Nutella added to the breakfast.

“a nice resting place”

The breakfast was excellent, even more so if you realise that it was included in the low price of 610 SEK per room. The place has a gorgeous location. It looked like a mansion, with a very ornate lounge, with very decent coffee for early birds like me. A pity that such a grandiose place is in such need of maintenance, especially on the outside. A bit painful to see that apparently business does not supply sufficient funding for it
