Excellent breakfast. A very special place with a cozy atmosphere. Tamara, Fernando and Liza welcomed us very well, made us feel at home 🫶🏻. We liked everything.

The lodge is enchanting from the moment you arrive, cozy yet rustic just enough, gently blended into the surrounding nature beside a river that invites contemplation and rest. The outdoor areas are a whole other chapter: wooden benches and tables around small campfires and open fireplaces create a warm atmosphere on cooler evenings, while the hammock and the floating bed over the water encourage slowing down, listening to the river’s sound, and simply being. The setting feels like a true sanctuary for nature lovers. Close to a waterfall and offering boat or kayak rides on the river, the lodge provides simple, authentic experiences that refresh body and soul. I can imagine how beautiful the place looks when the river is clearer (we were there right after heavy rain, which made it murkier). As a surprise, the owner guided us on a jeep tour to learn the coffee route, showing the cultivation’s origins in an unexpected adventure. Everything is handled with meticulous attention to detail, and that shows in every corner. Time seemed to slip away. Breakfast is hearty, delicious, and lovingly prepared, highlighting homemade flavors and a care that feels more than just explained. The lodge is run by an extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful family that infuses affection into everything they do. Much of what you see is handmade, delicate, and tasteful, adding to the specialness of the experience. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotless: all new, excellent beds, fragrant linens that invite you, and nights of deep rest. It’s the kind of place that embraces you, wraps you, and makes you want to stay a bit longer—or return again. As for the location, it’s a great distance from all the towns on the water circuit.
