“This is a wonderful place in the heart of the Tuscany region.”

We spent four nights at Fattoria Borgonuovo and it quickly became one of our favorite Tuscan memories. The place is run by three generations: a mother, her son and wife, and their two kids, all living on the estate. It used to be the grandparents’ house, and grandson Marcus spent five years turning the old stables into three lovely guest rooms. The family cleans and maintains everything themselves, so everything feels personal and cared for. A game room near check‑in lets you relax or drop off luggage if you arrive early, and that’s exactly what we did – our first‑floor room was ready and welcoming when we pulled up, a wonderful surprise! We chose this spot for its reliable mini‑split air conditioning, easy first‑floor access, free parking, peaceful rural setting, and proximity to Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino, and other charming towns. The countryside views are stunning, and we especially loved the arched windows and doors that open wide to let in sunlight, fresh breezes, and a great connection to the outdoors. The bed was comfortable, the internet was good enough, and the whole place radiated warm Tuscan hospitality. I highly recommend Fattoria Borgonuovo to couples and families alike; staying here felt like being welcomed into a real family home rather than just another vacation rental. “Great quiet place with a great view in southern tuscany to enjoy your vacation!”

A quiet spot with a nice view of the Tuscan countryside, perfect as a base to visit southern Tuscany and northern Umbria. Hospitality is great, the accommodation is clean and fully equipped, and there’s a pool to cool off. The only downside is that the sink water doesn’t drain very well.

Everything was top! The property is beautifully and lovingly designed, showing real effort and attention to detail. The apartment is top‑class, very clean, and well‑equipped. The owner is super friendly and almost invisible. With only three holiday apartments, everything is very quiet and pleasant. The house dog is very sweet, friendly, and affectionate, and it isn’t always around, so there’s no fear of disturbance. For your info, there’s a knife block, cutting board, plenty of pots and a pan, as well as enough trash bags and dish soap – a set‑up you rarely find in Italy. Our “Basic‑Kit” could stay in the suitcase. From here you can easily make excursions in Tuscany, hit the highway quickly, yet still feel very peaceful. The view is simply amazing and the pool is wonderful. Shops are also not far. All in all, absolutely recommendable! The only thing I’d improve is the yellowed edges in the shower, which I’d clean more thoroughly – but that’s a tiny detail that only shows because everything else is so perfect.
