The hotel is right next to Kyoto’s main station. The continental breakfast was excellent and had a wide variety of food. The staff were courteous and very friendly. The onsen was well maintained. Everything was spotless. In an extraordinary gesture they gave us a typical local pajama.

The hotel offered a spacious bathtub and complimentary hot and cold drinks, but the rooms themselves were small, leaving no room for luggage, and the bathroom felt tiny for a four‑night stay.

The Japanese breakfast was wonderful with many options. The location was great for catching trains and buses, just a short walk from the hotel. I really enjoyed the nightly spa at the hotel, it was very relaxing. Our family had a great trip and stay. No complaints. I would stay at this hotel again. The service and breakfast were excellent.
