“Getaway Night at Pelikastri”

The location was gorgeous; even though it rained when we arrived, it still looked beautiful, and the next day was sunny. The staff were friendly and the breakfast delicious, and I slept well. The Wi‑Fi was a bit spotty, possibly due to the bad weather.

The rooms and garden are beautiful in a lovely, quiet, unspoilt bay. Nothing negative. It’s quite remote to get to, but that’s part of what makes it so special.

In a very nice beach literally in the middle of nowhere, hosting a makeshift camp and a few old structures from past decades, the old building was recently renovated with great care and good taste and turned into a small, well‑maintained hotel. Relaxed vibe, excellent outdoor spaces, courteous staff, very good breakfast, immaculate. The room didn’t have a balcony, only two small windows. The bathroom had neither a window nor artificial ventilation.

“An absolute must stay and makes a whole trip to the area worth it! I can't wait to visit again!”

Arriving at Pelikastri felt like stepping into a dream I hadn’t known I wanted. The spot—between olive‑grove hills and a turquoise‑blue sea—was perfect. The aesthetic was striking, with a calming color scheme. Manager Harris helped me with my bag, offered a cool drink, and guided me to my room, which was absolutely perfect: spacious, fully equipped, with a balcony and view. Breakfast at the guesthouse was plentiful, and just 20 m away you could visit Julia, the owner of the all‑day taverna on the beach. The AC fan and modern windows promised a great night’s sleep. The Buddhist meditation tent and the priceless yoga platform atop the mountain (a 15‑minute walk or a 2‑minute drive with Harris or Konstantinos) added a luxurious touch. It was a surreal, super‑impressive way to start the day with yoga. Harris and Konstantinos were helpful, patient, kind, and fun—an invaluable addition to my stay. Thank you! The only downside was that days only had 24 hours; I’d love to stay longer and stretch time.

“Relaxing, beautiful and immersive”

We were impressed by the design and surroundings, both inside and out. Every detail is expertly crafted, and the whole structure tells a story. Every part is fully equipped—from beach towels to free sunbeds—so we could relax and enjoy a nice meal at the tavern under the hotel. Harry, the host, was super nice, eager to accommodate every request, making us want to return. We also suggest spending part of the night on the beach to see a star‑filled sky with no light pollution. The road to get there is tricky, but you can navigate it following a fully asphalted street (we managed with a Fiat Panda). Also, get to the tavern before 9 pm for dinner, as they’ll close after that.
