The location is great for spotting turtles, and breakfast was offered (by choice) directly on the beach. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was truly terrible…

Only the location is good. Unfortunately, we do not recommend this hotel. Our stay was a very disappointing experience. First, the hotel description and website photos do not match reality; the actual condition is far worse than shown. Breakfast was almost identical each day with little variety. A constant, strong sewage smell emanated from the toilet, making it unpleasant. The bicycles provided were in very poor condition—old, worn, and needing maintenance. We were especially let down by the bike‑rental situation: upon arrival we asked several times to confirm that bicycles were free; our whole family heard the exchange. We were clearly told that regular bicycles were free and only electric ones cost money. Yet just before departure we were suddenly told that regular bicycles were also chargeable, and we were asked to pay €30 for four bicycles for three days. Had we known the cost earlier, we could have chosen differently. Being told repeatedly that the bicycles were free and then being charged at the end felt extremely unfair and dishonest. Overall, we were very disappointed. The price‑to‑quality ratio was unsatisfactory. We cannot recommend this hotel.

The manager/owner shows special consideration and assists with activities; remember to request bikes and snorkeling from the front desk. The beachfront location and warm courtesy of the staff are highlights. No issues to note.

I like the beautiful gardens, beachfront, traditional feel, and small size. Nothing negative.
