“Private room in hostel”

The shared kitchen, pool, quietness, and AC were good, but the place felt very small and almost empty, so I couldn’t meet many people. The bed was very hard, and I ended up in a different room than the one I booked (a private room). Only a kind man was there to help, so I couldn’t get information from the manager who never showed up.

I liked having a pool and the fridge with bottled water that you pay for on the spot, and they respond well on WhatsApp. I booked a quadruple room just for myself and was charged an extra R$50 per day for an extra person, so I paid R$100 more. It rained on the second day, and the sound of rain revealed a leak in the ceiling that already had a patch, but the noise kept me from sleeping. The bath towels and sheets were terrible quality.

“Nice staff!”

I loved the staff there! I was the only female and they tried everything to keep me comfortable. They even brought a desk to the dorm so I could work from there. Incredibly kind! It also is very close to a lot of restaurants. Some of the photos seem AI generated and don’t match the place. I honestly think how it originally looks is just fine and in my opinion more homey. The dorm bathroom does not have a sink and the AC is only on at night. One thing about Cuiaba is that its extremely hot, 37-40 degrees!

The location in the city was good, the patio was nice, and the bedding wasn’t bad. The photo of the accommodation didn’t match what I actually received.
