The staff were very attentive and the price was reasonable for a Singapore accommodation. The single room was small but adequate. However, the hotel hasn’t been renovated recently, neither the common areas nor the rooms. The bathroom was the worst part: the shower was cramped, the whole bathroom stained, the sink was broken (it worked but the porcelain was shattered) and the towels had hair on them.

The mattresses in the standard double beds were very comfortable, and it was only about an 8‑minute walk to Farrer Park Station. The rooms were tiny. One of our two rooms faced a window that looked straight into an Indian nightclub, and bass music played all night. In the triple‑bedroom, the mattresses on the loft were so thin that it felt like sleeping on a plank.
