“Bad experience”
The manager, Mr Salama, was very friendly and helpful, and his breakfasts were delicious and very healthy—there was no meat, but that was fine for us. Unfortunately, the rooms lack AC, and during our two-night stay in June/July, temperatures hit around 30 °C at night, making it scorching inside and almost impossible to sleep. The manager handed us a fan, which helped a little, but the sleep quality remained poor; the next night he provided a second fan, which was better until the power cut in the middle of the night, causing the fans to stop and leaving us exhausted. The place runs on solar panels, so the electricity ran out entirely, and we had no hot water in the morning. The internet was unreliable: Wi‑Fi was spotty and the phone signal was weak, just enough for texting but impossible for streaming. Cleanliness was an issue—I found a cockroach in the shower cabin. The pool was unusable, covered in algae.
