Merzouga Paradise Luxury Camp

We had an incredible time at Merzouga Paradise, a true gem in the Sahara. The staff, led by the trustworthy owner Said, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and safe. The clean and cozy tents were a perfect base for our adventures, including an unforgettable ATV ride through the dunes and a well-organized desert tour. The swimming pool was a lovely bonus, although it was a bit temperamental due to the weather.

“狗屁天堂，下地狱吧”

We were thoroughly disappointed with our experience at this camp. Despite booking, we never even got to stay - the staff gave us the wrong phone number, making it impossible for us to contact them, and we were left stranded. To make matters worse, they refused to apologize or take responsibility, and their attitude was appalling. We strongly advise against booking with them and hope they'll learn from their mistakes.

We loved the concept of staying in tents amidst the dunes, and despite our initial misadventures, the owner went out of his way to offer us meals. However, the transfer to the camp was a surprise expense, and the lack of cleanliness, conviviality, and a functioning pool (which was advertised as an amenity) left a lot to be desired.

“Desilusão no deserto”

We stayed at this camp for three nights, and while the staff, particularly Youssef, were incredibly friendly and helpful, the manager was a major letdown. The water pressure was low, there was no hot water, and the internet didn't work - all of which were advertised as part of the luxury experience. To make matters worse, the manager tried to pressure us into booking an overpriced tour, which only delivered half of what was promised.

Unfortunately, our stay at this camp was a disaster. The entire place was filthy, and we were left feeling thoroughly unimpressed.
