The food was delicious, and for the price everything was satisfactory; the value for money was reasonable.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and cool thanks to the air conditioning, and the quiet environment was a welcome escape from city noise. The stylish, fresh renovation in the style of an English pub surprised me, especially for a small town. When I checked in, administrator Tetiana escorted me to the room, handed me the key, and handed me a separate handle to open the window—an odd choice to leave handles turned. Soundproofing was virtually nonexistent. The location was very convenient, right in the center with shops, cafés, a pharmacy, and a market nearby, and the streets were tidy. The hotel’s own restaurant offered a grill menu; the selection was large, with many tasty dishes that we tried over almost two days of “full board,” giving plenty of options for different tastes and budgets. Breakfast was especially satisfying—plenty, hearty, and with many choices. However, the shower water had a distinct iron or sulfide smell, likely from a well, and the pressure was unstable, with fluctuating temperature. The former hydro‑massage cabin was converted into a regular shower, but a large, odd round hole remained where pipes and wiring were visible, which looked unsettling. Parking was closed from 22:00 to 10:00, and exit was paid; administrator Tetiana said the fee was 200 UAH. On Saturday, a large banquet was held: children of all ages ran around the dining hall, climbed onto the bar, and guests brought their own food. We happened to witness a guest bring sweets, a cake, and fruit from a car around 20:00 and ask staff to serve it at the table—staff agreed. In the heat of 30 °C it seemed risky, but the friendly waitresses fulfilled the request. The next morning, Sunday 19 July at 10:20, after a heavy bombardment and a tough night, during breakfast administrator Anastasia strictly forbade me from eating a small 30 g Roshen chocolate bar that I had brought with me. Of course I was at fault for bringing it, because before 10 :00 the bar wasn’t open and you couldn’t even have coffee; the bar finally opened. The restaurant’s menu didn’t include chocolate, and we had studied it thoroughly over our two‑day stay. “We forbid bringing your own food,” the administrator said. I apologized, but it still surprised me, especially since a few hours earlier we were allowed to serve sweets from a car in the heat without refrigeration, and now there was a blanket ban on a 30 g chocolate bar in that form. Over two days we ate only in the hotel restaurant, spent a lot on lodging and meals, and the final part of the stay felt disrespectful.

The staff were friendly, the room had a working air conditioner, and it was clean, but the noise from outside was terrible.
