Very quiet location with a great view. Dogs at the pool were urinating wherever they wanted, between the sunbeds. Dog‑poop bags were disposed of in the parking lot between the cars. There was no fridge, no safe.

We ate breakfast outside and enjoyed the view of Lake Garda. When we wanted an egg dish, it was served right away. There’s something for everyone at breakfast, small but fine. No fruit or vegetables were missing. The staff were kind and friendly, and the owner is very friendly too. It feels like a lovingly prepared country estate. The whole property is simply dreamy and far from tourist crowds, so you can truly relax here. There’s nothing negative to report.

The location with a view of Lake Garda and the large rooms were great, and the breakfast was good. The rooms were sparsely equipped; the couch was covered with a crumpled throw, and there were no hangers or a drying rack for bath items or towels (a small clothes rack or similar). There were also no loving details such as pictures, décor, or pillows on the couch. The signature of an experienced hotelier was missing.

Prati Palai sits beautifully in the hills above Lake Garda, offering a stunning lake view and a truly exceptional sense of peace and tranquility. With only eight suites and one room, the hotel feels wonderfully small and intimate—exactly the kind of place we love. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Air conditioning is a real plus, especially in warmer months. Unfortunately, the beds were rather uncomfortable, and the pillows weren’t particularly neck‑friendly, so sleep was less relaxing than hoped. Breakfast is generous by Italian standards and presented with great care and attention to detail; everything feels lovingly prepared. At lunch, a small menu offers simple but delicious options like bruschetta or burrata with tomatoes—perfect for a light meal by the pool. The pool area is lovely and offers a wonderful place to relax, though the green areas around the pool could be maintained a bit better; fallen plums were sometimes left on the ground, making it easy to step on them. The staff were quite reserved and shy, and we would have appreciated a little more personal interaction. In such a small, family‑like hotel, we’re used to getting to know the staff and even knowing their names so we can address them personally. A warmer, more personal approach would make the experience feel even more special. Overall, Prati Palai is a beautiful and peaceful hideaway with an incredible location, wonderful views, and a very intimate atmosphere. With a few small improvements, it could be an absolutely exceptional place to stay.
