The place was spotless and the staff were super friendly and nice, but the beds could have been a bit softer.

The breakfast matched what you'd expect from a hotel like this—tasty but not very varied. The building felt older but had been updated, was comfortable and clean, and almost every room had a usable balcony, which is uncommon. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was the location on a main highway; you have to drive to all the Okoboji venues, sites, and activities, and the hotel offered little information about local activities.
