The location, newly renovated rooms, cleanliness, and great breakfast were all excellent—just everything!

The location was fantastic and breakfast was solid, but the rooms facing the back courtyard had no view, opaque windows, and a strong smell from the restaurant’s air extractor. Even the linens carried that odor. The staircase was loud, especially when someone used it, and the noise from people upstairs using the shower and toilet was constant. It felt out of place for an expensive room in a 4‑star hotel. They offered us breakfast and half a bottle of champagne as an apology, but I wouldn’t pay €250 a night off‑season without breakfast for a room like that.
