The vibe was good, the staff were helpful, and everything was spotless. It’s in the centre of Begur, but parking is far from the hotel, the roads are very narrow, and during the last bank holiday weekend the carparks were full, so I had to drive around the outskirts to find a spot to stay overnight.

Close to the historic quarter, the old building was nicely renovated. The room was small, the bathroom tiny, there was no coffee or tea in the room, the breakfast was minimal (better to go to a nearby bar), and parking was either public and far and expensive or a bit closer but free on a rough plot at the village entrance.

The room was well laid out as part of a conversion of an old building, the staff were very helpful and polite, and it’s close to the town centre, but the parking is 300 metres away.
