The place was quiet and seemed fully booked. We couldn't finish the dinner or breakfast because the portions were huge (we had a family), so we felt bad leaving food. Because we were traveling with a toddler, we expected some child‑friendly options; the accommodation felt geared toward adults only and could use more consideration for families.

“Great ambience with very hospitable staff and amenities.”

The dinner and breakfast were high quality with a great variety. The staff’s service was exceptionally good. Plenty of parking spots were available. Both the indoor and outdoor private onsen baths were very well maintained.

The overall environment was tranquil and very relaxing. The courtyard lets you feed fish and ducks, which the kids loved. The room’s open‑air hot spring can be enjoyed anytime without disturbance—great. There were a few insects in the surroundings, but that’s understandable for a rural location. The window screens were tight, keeping the interior comfortable and not detracting from the overall experience.

The ryokan was excellent, the meals were delicious, and the outdoor bath was superb.

Everything was perfect, the staff was very attentive, and we even received a lovely surprise to celebrate our honeymoon; the suite was simply magical with the outdoor bath. Unfortunately, there were many restless children during meals that we could hear through the doors, but that is not the hotel’s responsibility.
