The hotel was small but quite cozy. The room had a wonderful view, the bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean. The room had everything needed, even a tiny fridge. The owners were very pleasant people, they genuinely care about guest comfort and do everything to leave only pleasant memories.

I absolutely loved this place! The peaceful surroundings and the gentle sound of the nearby stream create such a soothing atmosphere—it’s the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy a wonderful night’s sleep. The hosts are genuinely lovely and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The homemade food is delicious, and the cherry dumplings were my absolute favourite—a real treat! What makes this place truly special is the combination of natural beauty, tranquillity, and heartfelt hospitality. It’s somewhere you can slow down, forget the everyday rush, and simply enjoy being there. I left with wonderful memories and would happily return!. There was nothing I didn’t like—everything was wonderful!

We came to hike in the mountains, so the location was great. The climb to Strimbu starts not far from the hotel. If you drive 4 km on the main street, you can start the climb to Darvai, which we did. The mountains were beautiful, the views were breathtaking, we found a lot of mushrooms, and we took many photos with incredible vistas. Breakfasts and lunches were tasty. In the room the mattresses were low quality and the pillows were too tall; we’re sensitive about that, so it’s important to us.

The hosts were incredibly friendly, the room was clean and great, and the location was convenient for trips to and from the mountains. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was there, and the food prices were excellent with flexibility for extras. We brought a 6‑kg dog and the owners allowed it. Come visit – you won’t regret it.
