The location is spot‑on, with plenty of space, a fully stocked kitchen and a roomy dining area. The retro vibe is fine, but the place could use a few updates – the kitchen wall is cracked, for example. As with any shared house, you’re at the mercy of your roommates; we ended up with a Polish family who started singing at 8 am and later turned the common lounge into a boozy couch‑surfing zone with loud snoring.

Perfect weekend base if you spend most of the day out in the field – the room is basically just a place to sleep and freshen up, but it’s clean, comfortable, and there’s parking right on the property.
