Everything was fantastic: the atmosphere, the surroundings, the rooms, the beds, the breakfast, and the staff/owner were very friendly and accommodating; there was nothing I didn’t like.

The manor, freshly restored, felt like pure idyll; breakfast was abundant, featuring bread baked on site, and host Johanna treated us with great warmth. We were fortunate to catch a spontaneous house concert by talented local musicians. Everything was perfect, no complaints.

The rooms in the lovely manor were comfortable, and although the bathroom was shared with other guests it was impeccably clean. Breakfast was superb, featuring organic produce, much of which could also be bought at the adjacent farm shop that also houses a café and a building‑maintenance store. The host offered helpful excursion suggestions and was very accommodating. Unfortunately the property is near the railway, and I woke up a few times to passing trains.
