The reception staff was in the toilet for at least ten minutes while we waited to check in. He barely greeted us, didn’t mention Wi‑Fi, breakfast, ice, or the pool. When I opened the door to our room, a maintenance man was sitting on the couch watching TV, which freaked me out. He said nothing—maybe he didn’t speak English—then called reception and spent the rest of the time fixing the smoke alarm. The ice machine was broken, though bags were at reception. The room was dirty and the bathroom was the size of an airplane toilet.

Clean, well‑located, good service, but the breakfast was very basic now, previously it was much better. The pool closed at 9 p.m.; many of us were out shopping all day and wanted a drink by the pool, only to find it shut at 9 p.m.

The only thing that was decent was the location; everything else was terribly bad—the tension, the staff, the breakfast hours were terrible, absolutely terrible. I didn’t like anything except the location; the people were shockingly horrible, rude, and gross, with a very bad attitude and terrible service. The breakfast included at 8 or 10 a.m. was gone, so I had to keep asking and demanding, and a dark‑skinned person came and shouted at me and insulted me.

The spot is great, but the staff were a bit rude and the breakfast that’s supposedly included isn’t actually there unless you’re lucky.
