I loved everything about this place and have been telling all my family and friends about it! Even though it rained the day we arrived, we still had a wonderful time. The setting, the city views, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect spot for a sisters’ getaway. When our heater stopped working, the team sent someone right away, which we really appreciated. The only small downside was that the technician who fixed the heater wasn’t very friendly, but it didn’t ruin our stay. We were there to enjoy our sisterhood, and we did!

“Außer Aussicht passt nichts.”

The view from the tent of the Statue of Liberty was a highlight. The power in the tent mostly didn’t work—no heating, no bathroom light. The alternative room offered didn’t have a view of the Statue of Liberty. Also, the fuse trips easily if you overload the one working outlet. In the shower, hot and cold were swapped. The link for ferry times in the welcome email was wrong, and the contact numbers in that email were incorrect. The concierge was severely understaffed, so unless you ask very persistently, you probably won’t be picked up or taken to the ferry. From 8 am to 10 pm, helicopters constantly fly over the island.

“Awesome stay, friendly staff, quirky property and unique location”

The location is amazing! S’mores by the campfire were a bonus. When it’s windy, the tent is a bit noisy, but that’s the only thing I didn’t like about the property.

I had no chance to enjoy the show because the storm forced the theater to cancel, and the wind that day blew hard into the tent‑like bedroom, making it impossible for me, a heart‑conditioned guest, to stay; the bathroom and shower were about 60 meters away in separate facilities, not private at all, and I was terrified of not being able to use the bathroom at night. The camp‑style setup was far worse than a rural campground, with wind rattling through the makeshift walls and the whole space feeling absurdly inadequate.
