The Bear of Rodborough Hotel, located on Rodborough Common within acres of National Trust land, offers a warm welcome to all, including dogs. Originally built in the 17th Century, this former coaching inn features homely country house bedrooms with views over the Cotswolds. The hotel boasts a Library Restaurant with AA Rosette-awarded dishes, a Bear Bar with real ales, and a Pavilion Garden Bar with outdoor activities and casual dining.

A lovely, friendly welcome, warm and cozy rooms with a massive bed! This is the third time we’ve stayed at The Bear, and we’ll be back. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are wonderful, and the views are stunning. No complaints at all.

The location is perfect and strategically placed for driving around the Cotswolds. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service and cleanliness were excellent.

Breakfast was excellent, there was a solid selection of beers, the food was good, and the bed was comfy. The bar shut early even though I was a resident, the floor squeaked, and I had to book my meal choice before 19:00 hrs.
