Great location for walking West Mendip Way and for the pub for an evening meal. The breakfast was also good and the staff made me feel welcome. The shower worked but the spray wasn’t very powerful.

The ladies were friendly. A large cooked breakfast was provided, but I would have preferred to choose food to avoid waste. After eating, I noted the date on an empty cereal box was March 2026. The main ceiling light was very poor. Fairy lights around the vanity mirror didn’t work. The bathroom was very small and the bathroom window was difficult to open. There was no blind on the bathroom window. The bed was not made the next day, and milk and tea bags were not replenished.

Beautiful location and walks around. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful at the accommodation, from sharing taxi numbers, sending self‑check‑in information to ensuring everything ran smoothly. The place was very cosy and had a lovely view at breakfast over the horses. The room was lovely and everything was very clean and cosy. The room was set up with tea and biscuits, which was lovely. Everything was perfect and cosy. Only at breakfasts meat was added and then only removed from the plate even if it was touching the eggs and mushrooms, despite being a vegetarian and communicating ahead, which made me feel nauseous the rest of the day in my travel as I have not eaten meat in 15 years due to animal protection. The food however was fresh, e.g. eggs, bread, mushrooms, and a great variety of drinks. Wi‑Fi was a bit in and out and phone reception was not great, however I was able to use the accommodation telephone to book a taxi, which was very helpful.

I stayed at a welcoming farmhouse in Priddy, where the bed was comfortable and the room was quaint with a lovely view of the farmland across the front. The hot breakfast had good quality fillings, and I was aware the bathroom was shared, so that wasn’t an issue for me.
