Motel 6-Freeport, TX

The restaurant next door was fantastic and offers direct fishing access right across the street. Unfortunately, the advertised pool was missing, and the TV in our room malfunctioned on the first night.

“Nasty and roach invested.”

The place was filthy; the towel had a strong odor, and there was a hole in the door that let you see straight outside. The neighbor’s door had police present several times. The front desk denied me a downstairs room, claiming none were available, yet when my husband left, a room suddenly appeared. Overall, everything was nasty and unclean.

“If you’re desperate, go ahead but maybe spend an extra 20 and look elsewhere.”

The TV in the room was very new and large, and the refrigerator was newer and cold. However, the floor was dirty, the room smelled bad, the shower curtain was filthy, and the AC was very very loud. Since this is a Motel 6, the neighbors looked pretty rough.

“Slechte organisatie!!!!”

Nothing positive at all! When I arrived the reservation wasn’t in their system, no rooms were left so I had to look elsewhere even though the charge had already been taken from my account; the payment also didn’t appear in their records and they still haven’t refunded the money because they claim they never received a cancellation confirmation. So I ended up with no hotel and no money.
