“Very Nice Inn”

The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and there was plenty of table and desk space, a closet, a microwave, coffee, and a fridge; the walls were stocked with pump bottles for lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and the bathroom had extra sink shelves; the location was great for Beaufort. The downside was that the drain lid in room #212 was detached from the base, looking dirty, black, and rusty, and the tub faucet needed caulking where it met the wall; otherwise the tub and accessories were very clean and nice.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, but I wish breakfast had started before 6 am, especially since the hotel is so close to the Parris Island Marine Base and the graduations are ongoing, requiring an early arrival for security lines.

Everything was great except one staff member; Sabrina was awesome, but housekeeping was a bit rude.

I tried to grab coffee before the 7 am breakfast window and was yelled at by the cook for looking at the menu, which I knew they didn't open until 7 am; I returned at 7:10 am to get something to eat before heading south, but the cook yelled again about a charge. The receptionist said “breakfast” at check‑in, never mentioning a fee, yet the continental breakfast cost $10—no bagel is worth $10!

“Disappointing 2 nights, will try someplace else next time.”

I landed in a decent spot with plenty of parking, but the king room I had booked turned out to be unavailable when I checked in. The room was scorching hot and the bed felt uncomfortable.
