't Witte Hoes

I received an email with the key box access when the room was ready. Under the window curtain was a previous guest’s underwear. The bathroom was full of hair, so I avoided the shower. A step led into the bathroom. The bed was so low it felt like a piece of art to get out of it. The room could use a basic cleaning. The light bulbs were dusty, leaving a faint burnt smell after a few minutes of use. Breakfast should not be booked in advance; there were two types of bread you had to cut yourself and you had to cook the eggs yourself.

“Een fijn verblijf met kleine verbeterpunten”

Goede locatie, prijs, groot verblijf met faciliteiten, vriendelijk personeel. Goed bereikbaar. Fijne inrichting van het verblijf. Netflix op de tv. Snel internet. In ons verblijf ( witte hoes, appartement )waren De badkamer en toilet 1 kleine ruimte dat direct aansluit op de slaapkamer, zonder deur of afsluiting. Je had geen privacy tijdens het doen van een grote of kleine beurt en de douche had tevens geen gordijn of deur. Het maakte het douchen wat oncomfortabel en koud. Zonde omdat de douche zelf lekker warm was met een krachtige straal. Hier een aparte ruimte van maken of een douchegordijn gebruiken zou veel schelen!

“Eenvoudig verblijf”

The staff were very friendly and the place made a great base for exploring the Veluwe, but there was no way to brew coffee or tea in the morning in the room; a simple kettle would have been nice and appreciated.

The low price to the National Park is definitely a selling point, and breakfast at the sister hotel was very tasty; the hotel itself offers a good retreat.

“Goed”

Breakfast was well organized, but we didn’t realize we had to walk a short distance to get it, and it was raining.
