I liked the location the most; it was close to the beach, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and it was easy to reach any excursions. The 24‑hour reception was great and helpful. The jungle vibe of the bathroom was refreshing and really relaxing after a long, hot day. I expected only a fan, so the lack of AC was the only downside, especially with the heat in the area—keep that in mind when planning. The bugs in the bathroom can be a problem because it’s an open area, so bring bug spray.

The garden is super cute and the location is great; we specifically booked the room with AC and it was a blessing. The downside is that you have to collect your own trash and then leave the room to sort it, and there isn’t a bin for everything—normal trash, packaging, etc.

The location is unbeatable in this town, a nice space, and if you’re a backpacker they have a courtyard to chill in. Anything in Mazunte is a short walk, and you’re literally steps from a colectivo that can take you to other towns along the coast. The nightlife is solid, with street parties and random events at local bars. It’s a 5‑minute walk straight down the main road to the beach and a 10‑15‑minute walk up the hill to Punta Cometa. Check‑in was fine, and there’s no curfew or time you need to be back before they lock the gates. Great spot to stay.

The staff were wonderful and the place matched the online pictures exactly. The location was perfect, very close to Playa Mazunte and the main strip. I stayed in a room with a double bed and a twin bed, and the twin was a bit less comfortable.
