“Interesting”
I love the hotel’s unique design. It’s just a three‑minute walk from the beach, and coffee and breakfast are available in the morning so you can fuel up before exploring the area.

The staff were friendly. I arrived at 11:00 PM, asked for directions, and they were incredibly helpful. I really appreciated the industrial style—it really sets the place apart from nearby hotels. The bed was near the balcony door, letting me watch the rain and fog, making for a wonderful experience.

Great staff, comfortable beds and Pillows. Strong Wi-Fi. We stayed at Bridges for four nights but had to change rooms because the guest next door was smoking marijuana day and night. The smell constantly came through into our room, making it unbearable. The hotel advertises its rooms as “soundproofed”, which is confusing given they have adjoining doors between rooms. Not only can you hear conversations and other noise, but smells also travel straight through the connecting door. In our case, weed. When we reported the issue, the staff told us they had already spoken to the guest, but he denied smoking. The fact they were already aware of the problem made the situation even more disappointing. Rather than removing the guest who was causing the disturbance, the hotel chose to inconvenience us by making us move rooms. That is not the level of service I would expect. I don’t blame the staff, they did their best. Running a hotel this way comes from management. The co-working space was also disappointing. It’s essentially just 2 desks and two chairs, and it was so hot that it was unusable. There is no air conditioning in either the co-working area or the communal kitchen. It’s a shame because the rooms themselves are funky, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. However, allowing one guest’s behaviour to negatively affect others, and then expecting the affected guests to move instead of dealing with the source of the problem, is unacceptable. For that reason, I can only give this hotel 1 star

The staff were incredibly sweet, and there were no negatives.

The hotel scores a 9, but the staff deserve a perfect 10 – everyone here is warm and enthusiastic. When the air‑conditioner got too cold at night I asked reception for an extra blanket and a colleague delivered it to my room within three minutes. The only downside is that the hotel often fills up, so you have to book ahead.
