The hotel was special and meticulous. On the second floor there was a very pleasant tea room. Dinner consisted of 10 courses spread over two hours; the food was tasty, though challenging for an Israeli palate. Every day offered a different menu featuring sea snails and a variety of fish. We were open to flavors, yet some dishes remained difficult. We didn’t finish breakfast. On the second and third days we cancelled meals and were pleasantly surprised when they offered us a drink or extra items for dinner, possibly crediting them on the final bill if we hadn’t ordered. Breakfast was especially tough; we would have appreciated an alternative.

The rooms were spotless and comfy, and the space was larger than I expected. Every staff member was fantastic. The restaurant meals and the breakfast and dinner buffets were outstanding. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the ropeway that takes you to the top of Mt. Asahidake.

The onsen, location, spacious room, and food were great. Dinner far exceeded the hotel’s usual standards. It’s within walking distance of the ropeway, and we’d pick it again.
