Check‑in was easy. The hotel room was nice, clean, and had everything you need. The price was good and the staff were friendly.

The accommodation was completely hassle‑free. Naturally, my rating also depends on the price; for a hotel that has won multiple awards I would expect more. Everything was fine. As a late riser, I skipped breakfast.

“Gerne wieder - außerhalb der Hochpreisphase”

Finding a reasonably priced place during the world’s largest shipbuilding fair is almost impossible, so I decided to take the risk and book this affordable hotel despite mixed reviews. I was pleasantly surprised; it’s not a luxury property, but I spent a good week there. It’s clearly mostly occupied by contractors, which means there are hardly any guests during the day. Surprisingly, the required “quiet hours” from 10 p.m. were never disturbed. I prefer these “roommates” to people who are used only to luxury hotels and might otherwise pay more. Of course, a thorough renovation could make a big difference, but I only spotted one silverfish among the alleged pests, nothing else, even though I spent most of the day in the building working. I didn’t take enough time to enjoy the beautiful Alster source.

“Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt angenehm. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist korrekt.”

The location, the quiet, the staff, and the ample parking right at the hotel were all great. Unfortunately, there was no breakfast offered.
