The place is well designed, with modern facilities blended into the historic structure, an excellent spa area, a heated pool, and less than 5 minutes on foot to Cabril river beach—one of my favorites in Portugal; breakfast was also great and the hosts are very friendly and accessible, so I’ll definitely return.
