I expected the usual Hilton/Hampton Inn experience, and most of it matched that expectation, but the housekeeping fell short: we stayed three nights and nobody ever cleaned or made our bed, so we ended up doing it ourselves after each day of activities. When we asked at the front desk at checkout, they blamed a busy weekend and said more staff were needed—weekends happen 52 times a year, so a chain like Hilton/Hampton should be prepared.

The location is handy, close to sights and eateries, but the price felt a bit steep and the breakfast selection was limited.

The hotel was spotless and the staff were friendly, yet there was no coffee or machine available and the breakfast was only adequate at best, lacking warmth.

The spot is conveniently near Gillette, and we stayed for a weekend soccer tournament; it was a great place for all the kids to return to and unwind.
